Born in Chicago,
Illinois in August of 1934, after attending college for one year,
shortly after the ending of the Korean War, Mark enlisted in the
U.S. Coast Guard for a period of four years. While in the Coast
Guard, in late 1955, he married a childhood sweetheart and remain
married to the same lady. They have four children that now have
families of their own.
Self employed for the last twenty-two years, he runs a one man,
home service type business doing air duct and chimney cleaning.
He has written two additional,
unpublished books entitled The Becoming and The Hole Digger.
Besides being with his grandchildren,
and writing, his favorite pastime is bicycle riding.
